LUKE FAZAKERLEY
DESIGNER /MAKER...
With 25 years experience in fabrication and design, I have a strong grounding in materials & processes. My design approach comes from being committed to a physical end result.
I completed a diploma in Multimedia/Graphic Design & 3D Animation from 1999 to 2002, but pursued employment in fabrication (primarily plastics) expanding into the CNC & Laser side of manufacturing from 2004 to 2010.
From 2010 to 2015 I utilised my diverse experience in signage, working from concept to manufacture through to installation.
During many home projects within this time (generally focusing on Drums & Percussion)
I was inspired to return to academia to study Industrial Design (also known as Product Design or Design for Manufacture) at UniSA, finishing in 2014.
I am currently working as an Industrial/Technical designer in Adelaide, South Australia.
